Maria Shriver reportedly hires Los Angeles divorce lawyer Laura Wasser

Prominent Los Angeles divorce lawyer Laura Wassler is known as "a formidable foe in the courtroom".
(LAL) - Sources close to Maria Shriver reportedly told new sources that she has retained Los Angeles, California divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, but is undecided on the matter of divorce from her husband, former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. California's former first couple announced their separation last week after Shriver learned about Schwarzenegger's child born out of wedlock. The couple have been married for 25 years and have four children together.
Laura A. Wasser is an attorney with the family law firm Wasser, Cooperman & Carter, P.C. The law firm, which according to its website is "dedicated to maintaining the privacy of a diverse clientele, including a number of prominent figures in business and the entertainment industry" gave no comment when news sources attempted to confirm details. Laura Wasser is the same lawyer who represented Angelina Jolie and Brittany Spears in divorce-related matters, and is said to be a "formidable foe in the courtroom".
